A Trailer from 2009 Fame!

I heard varied reactions about this 2009 version of the film, but the one thing I can agree is that–this FAME movie is highly-influenced by the talent-reality TV show such as the American Idol.

What I am looking forward to seeing is the production number, which the film promises … let us see. :-)

Vilma Santos in an Endearing Gay Movie

Indeed, when people get to hear ‘not-so-nice-feedback’ on a film, there are two possible reactions, first they won’t watch it or they either opted to go and check it out by themselves out of being intrigued. Why is the TRUTH Ugly?

October 3, 2009

First and foremost, I went to see the film because I just want to have a good laugh. It’s been awhile that I haven’t had the chance to watch another romantic comedy films. Now, that made me missed my friend, Lizza. We were really suckers of these types of films. Second, the movie combines equally gorgeous personalities in Hollywood. Who would not want godly Gerard Butler from ’300′? What about Katherine Heigl who’s also a female lead of ’27 Dresses’, which I am sure most producers want to work with in Hollywood. Plus, the hunky Eric Winter of the ‘Brothers & Sisters’ soap as the third party is part of the cast. Third, I am intrigued with the way how the story was presented at a corporate setting.

Even if it’s a film that revolves around the characters of Abby and Mike, I could not stop thinking about Will Smith’s character as Alex ‘Hitch’ Hitchens in the film, ‘Hitch’. Butler’s attack is more vulgar, but I can say less-deceiving. But let me make it straight—I both love the characters that Smith and Butler portrayed in those two separate films. Butler’s more celebrated because he uses the television to share his thoughts, tips and all as opposed to Hitch’s.
