Even if I do not watch such programs offered by two rival networks in the country, ABS-CBN Channel 2 and GMA Channel 7, I am still optimistic that the ‘creatives’ in media will be able to pull-off shows next year that are engaging and not-insulting-to-the-sensibilities-and-intelligence of Filipino audience. Proof to that, is the plug that channel 2 has for next year’s programming.

The 21-year-old debonaire from Santa Mesa, Manila is a registered nurse. He dreams of exploring the world once he lands a job abroad. He lists his hobbies like going to the gym regularly, flexing his muscles everyday for three hours. He is also fond of going to malls, surfing the Net, and chilling out with Trance and House music.

Aside from traveling across the globe as one of his ardent dreams, he also pictures himself of buying his own pad and excels in the field he pursued in college. In June this year, he considered his greatest achievement was when he passed the licensure examination for nursing.

Ino replied when asked to describe himself what makes him a standout among the pack of aspiring models, “It’s simply being witty.”.

Today, I thank God for the life He has breathed into me.

I am posting it to promote the show, which Modesto did a teaser for this Christmas Special presentation.

The play is based on the life story of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots—the famous rival of Elizabeth I to the throne of England. Stuart once claimed that she’s the queen of Scotland, France, England and Ireland. Despite all her efforts, she was never crowned Queen of England because she simply lacked that so-called political skills, maybe even if she lived today and be a Filipino politician, she’ll never ever stand a chance against our woman president, Her Excellency Madame Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
